New Jersey Renewable Energy Market Assessment
The New Jersey Board of Public Utilities commissioned Summit Blue to lead an evaluation of New Jersey’s renewable energy marketplace. The project had four main objectives: 1) assess the renewable energy markets, building upon recent market potential studies; 2) update baseline studies and estimates used as performance indicators; 3) assess the costs of and barriers to the development of renewable energy technologies; and 4) provide recommendations, supported by research and analysis, regarding the future direction of New Jersey’s portfolio of renewable energy incentive programs. Renewable Strategy Development for Unisource
Like many other utilities, Tucson Electric Power (TEP) has a mandate to obtain a prescribed percentage of its energy from renewable energy resources. Arizona’s RES establishes requirements for total renewable energy supply and carves out a fraction of that overall requirement for distributed energy technologies. As a result, TEP is developing strategies for procuring both utility-scale and distributed energy resources. Read more

New York Renewable Portfolio Standard Program Evaluation
New York State Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) is responsible for procuring renewable energy credits (RECs) in New York State.
