Energy Efficiency Analyst and Consultant- Burlington, VT
Summit Blue Consulting, a national energy efficiency, demand response, and renewable energy consulting firm seeks an experienced Analyst and/or Consultant to assist with projects throughout North America. We seek an Analyst with at least 2-4 years of experience and a Consultant with at least 5-10 years of demand side management consulting experience. Experience with energy efficiency measures, and an understanding of program design, marketing, and/or evaluation concepts is required. Ability to conduct building simulation modeling and/or complex spreadsheet analyses and database skills is desired. Candidates should have a background in engineering, economics, business, policy, or related field.

Senior and Junior Economist or Economic Systems Engineering

Openings for individuals with experience in the economics of utility resource/system planning; and quantitative methods related to the economics of energy efficiency, demand response, innovative pricing and incentive ratemaking, market analyses, and integration of supply-side and demand-side resources in planning. Skills sought: econometrics, statistics, decision theory, portfolio theory and general modeling constructs. Engineer
Summit Blue Consulting (www.summitblue.com) is seeking a junior to mid level engineer to support multiple projects. Primary tasks include energy analysis and modeling, impact evaluations, field research using data collection instruments, and report writing. Interpersonal skills and the ability to conduct market and technology research across a broad range of energy industry participants are also important. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, an interest in the energy efficiency and renewables industry, and have familiarity with energy efficiency concepts. Summit Blue offers excellent advancement opportunities for motivated candidates. A desire to develop professionally in the energy field is important.
Qualifications:
- College degree in engineering or related field; graduate degree a plus
- Familiarity with energy efficiency measures, programs, and concepts
- Strong interpersonal communication and interviewing skills

- Computer skills, including building simulation modeling and complex spreadsheets
